In Europe, the percentage of cancers attributed to HPV stands at 0.9% for men and 4.4% for women. While cervical cancer is the most common type, HPV is also a primary cause of cancers of the vagina, vulva, anus, penis, and head and neck (oropharyngeal cancer).<\/p>\n<p>ELLOK supports the universal implementation of HPV vaccination across Greece to ensure the protection of the entire population.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HPV in Greece<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HPV remains a significant public health challenge in our country. Data presented at the 10th ELLOK Annual Conference highlight the existing disease burden and the urgent need to accelerate vaccination and prevention strategies.
