All.Can Greece is organising a webinar on Tuesday, March 31, from 15:00 to 16:30, titled:

“Assessing health status & the quality of healthcare services – The cancer patients’ perspective”

During the webinar, the results of a 2025 study conducted by All.Can Greece, in collaboration with ΕΛΛΟΚ and the Health Economics & Management Laboratory (LabHEM) of the University of Piraeus, will be presented. The study evaluates the health status and the quality of healthcare services received by cancer patients in Greece.

The research was carried out by PhD candidate Konstantina Briola from the University of Piraeus, under the supervision of Professor Athanasios Vozikis.

In its first phase, the study identified—through a comprehensive literature review—the factors that cancer patients consider important, such as access to treatments, quality of life, availability of therapies, and various other parameters. It utilized the PREMs (Patient Reported Experience Measures) and PROMs (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) tools.

Subsequently, patients from across Greece were invited, between October and December 2025, to assess their quality of life, the quality of the healthcare services they received during their treatment, to describe their experiences within the healthcare system, and to highlight their unmet needs.

The aim of the study is to contribute meaningfully to understanding the priorities of cancer patients, helping guide the design of targeted and effective interventions that address their real needs, through the documentation and analysis of their lived experiences and self-reported outcomes in cancer care.
